Projects - First House in Southampton, UK

We moved in April 1983 and moved out in March 1984 when we relocated to Swindon. Our first ever house owned together - it was a modest 2 bedroom (2 up, 2 down) house. We didn't have time to do much work - our only major project was to improve the master bedroom however of 4 rooms (5 really including the bathroom) we renovated 25% of the house!

I also added storage in the loft area by adding flooring and shelf space

1983    We bought our first (tiny) home together in Southampton, England

Project: Update of Master Bedroom:

Built in Wardrobes - constructed from scratch on one end wall - Louvered Doors - Painted White

Adjacent built in dressing table / mirror / drawer units & new electrical outlets

Wallpapered all walls, painted window frames and added 2 electric convection heaters with timers

Project: flooring, shelving and ladder access to the loft area

 

1984    We moved to Swindon
