Landscaping Soon after moving in we stared thinking about landscaping improvements. The rear yard had a good sixed patio but otherwise just uneven crushed rock with a few shrubs everywhere else - not good for a family young kids and pretty boring anyway. We spent some time creating a landscape plan and finding a good contractor. We wanted a dedicated fire pit patio similar but cozier than we had created in Lakewood and we thought a sand pit would be good for the kids as well as better access to the side and front - including standing room for the trash bins.
