Window Blackouts:

After installing my electro-chromatic rearview mirror and Valentine1 I wanted a way to hide the expensive Valentine unit and all the wiring and window tabs associated with both of these. I added carbon fiber look blackout film on the inside of the windshield between the sun visors - with cutouts for the glass mounting tabs. Later I also added plain blackout film outside in the exact same location to cover the rather obvious mounting tab holes.

I used this same external only mounted blackout film to create a contrast shield and sun shield for the central lower windshield mounted Valentine1 remote display.

Overall these pretty much disappear in the typical view of the car... yet they reduce glare in general and particularly around the Valentine display in full sun.
